HANDCRAFTED
INNOVATIVE, MODERN AND CUSTOMISABLE MOTORBOAT CONCEPTS FOR COMFORTABLE
AND RELAXED AS WELL AS EVENTFUL DAYS
ON THE WATER.
HANDCRAFTED
If there is an image that is typically associated with a boat builder’s workshop, it is surely that of the boat builder snuggled up against the boat checking its curve, applying sandpaper and polishing agent to the hull one last time and then stepping back to enjoy the perfection and elegance of its lines. The extremely high level of hand/eye coordination reveals masterful craftsmanship skills.
We build elegantly powerful motorboats by hand in our boat builder’s workshop, the only boatyard in Zurich. Traditional boatbuilding meets the current generation of owners’ unstoppable passion to innovate boatbuilding. This applies to design, functionality as well as quality.
The laws of physics alone set the limits for the customer wishes that can be fulfilled in our craft workshop. After all, at the end of the day, every boat – no matter how unique – has to sit perfectly in the water in every situation.
Swiss love of tradition meets Swiss passion for innovation.
Mathias Ganz
There is no type of boat that Matthias Ganz has not both driven and studied since his early childhood. Rowboats, sailboats and motorboats: he not only takes them for a spin, but also reads them and understands them.
This deep understanding of boat building allows him to design and build motorboats as only a genuine enthusiast can. He and his team of specialists makes sure that every boat satisfies his extreme standards and that every boat owner also sees their love for their boat fulfilled.
Mathias Ganz puts it as follows: We love those who desire the impossible and which ends up sitting in the water as a perfect Ganz boat.
HISTORY
History is particularly exciting when it surprises us. Mathias Ganz, who is writing the recent history of Ganz Bootsmanufaktur, has surprised people with his construction of motorboats. Making his dreams come true and preserving the last boatyard in Zurich, which has existed since 1972, were the motivations behind this change.
Mathias Ganz combined quality Swiss shipbuilding craftsmanship with a vision of not only building motorboats, but also innovating them. When Mathias Ganz presents his boats today, his eyes light up as he showcases the many details that make up a Ganz motorboat.
Today, Ganz Bootsmanufaktur can measure itself against the international motorboat building competition, not only holding its own, but even setting new standards.
Almost 50 years of boat building can be seen in every single Ganz motorboat, as Mathias Ganz and his team know how to transform this experience on the water into tangible, enjoyable and representative boats of the future.
